Remote update manager | Release notes

Adobe Remote Update Manager (RUM) provides a command-line interface that admins can use to remotely install updates of Adobe apps. For details, read Use Adobe Remote Update Manager.

Version 3.1.0 (April 2023)

The latest version of RUM releases with the following updates.

1. Support of add-ons update: When updating a product on a computer, RUM will only update the add-ons that were previously installed on that computer. This means that any associated add-ons that were not previously installed will not be installed along with the product update. This results in faster installation time.
2. Fixed the issue that occurred in updating dependencies of Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements.
   

Version 3.0.0 (December 2022)

The latest version of RUM releases with fixes to the following issues.

1. RUM shows no product updates via AUSST if Photoshop Elements or Premiere Element are installed on the machine.
2. Error 129 is encountered while updating Photoshop via RUM on Windows ARM machines.
