Export presets

Export presets

Modeler includes presets that allow you to quickly change export settings for various applications. The settings that each preset impacts are detailed below. Settings that are not listed for a preset will not be changed when the preset is applied. For example, if Up axis is not listed for a given preset, then applying that preset will not impact the Up axis.

3D Printing

The 3D printing preset is focused on a quick export at maximum detail, and thus exports the Raw mesh with minimal processing.

The 3D printing preset changes the following export settings:

  • Format: STL
  • Unit scale: Millimeters
  • Up axis: Y
  • Polygon type: Raw mesh
  • Positive transforms only: True

Blender
