Learn how to enhance the look of your PDFs by applying Adobe Express design templates in Acrobat.
To stylize a PDF with Adobe Express templates, sign in to Acrobat on the web with an individual or teams plan and ensure you are connected to the internet. The feature is available in English and works on the documents listed below. If your document isn’t eligible, you can stylize it with Adobe Express design tools.
You can stylize a PDF with AI in Acrobat if your document meets the following criteria:
- PDF with selectable text (not a scanned document)
- PDF with fewer than 15 pages
- PDF in the English language
- PDF without password protection
- PDF that isn’t signed or certified
- PDF without form fields (AcroForm or XFA)
- Standalone PDF (not a PDF Portfolio or with an embedded file)
Access and availability
Individual and Teams subscribers with Acrobat Studio, Acrobat Express, or Acrobat AI Assistant Plus plans will have access to the Stylize feature. We reserve the right to introduce generative credit consumption for the Stylize feature in the future and may update usage limits at any time.
Stylize PDFs with templates
Select Stylize under DESIGN WITH ADOBE EXPRESS.
Select a document design from the suggested templates in the left pane.
Select Apply template.
Acrobat designs the document based on the selected template.
To change the design of the stylized document, select Try other templates.
To make further edits, select Edit to refine the design and apply formatting changes to the stylized PDF.
To save the new stylized document for sharing, select Save.
