Use a Study packet to prepare for exams

Last updated on Apr 7, 2026

Learn how a Study packet in Student Spaces can help turn your study materials into a goal‑driven learning plan.

A Study packet is a smart, organized learning plan that helps you prepare for a specific goal, such as an exam, a midterm, or a deadline-based assignment. It brings together study guides, flashcards, and practice quizzes, all generated from your uploaded sources and structured around your topics, learning depth, and timeline.

Instead of studying everything at once, a study packet breaks complex material into focused study sessions, so you know what to study, when to study it, and how to check your understanding as you go.

Go to Student Spaces and choose one of the following ways to generate a study packet:

  • From an existing Student Space: Open one that already has your sources uploaded and select Study packet from the Study tools menu on the Overview page.
  • From new source material: Select Study packet from Student Spaces homepage, then upload your documents and provide the required details to get started.

On the Tell us a little more page, enter the topic you want to focus on, choose a Learning level, set a Goal date, and then select Generate to create your study packet.

Be specific about your focus, learning level, and deadline to help create a study packet that better matches your learning needs and timeline.

Open the generated study packet to access structured study sessions with a study guide, flashcards, and a practice quiz.
