Share documents for viewing only
Learn how to directly share any document with others for viewing.
When you directly share a document, the recipients receive an email containing a link. They can select the link to view the document in a browser without signing in.

From the list of Your documents or Recent files, hover over the document that you want to share and then select Invite .

In the dialog box that opens, add the email addresses of recipients.

Ensure that the Allow comments option is turned off.

Select Invite.
Once the document is shared, the recipients get an email notification with a link to open and view the document. The shared document appears in your list of Shared by you documents.
