Go to Acrobat on the web and select PDF Spaces.
- To create a new PDF Space, select Create a PDF Space.
- To use an existing one, open it and choose Select files.

You can add a Knowledge Base collection to a PDF Space to ask questions and get AI‑powered answers from large, shared document repositories, alongside files you add to the PDF Space.
Knowledge Base collections are enterprise‑managed knowledge bases. When added to a PDF Space, they act as a connected source for AI Assistant chat rather than individual files.
Note
Make sure your organization has Knowledge Base enabled and that you’re signed in with an Enterprise or Federated ID.
In the dialog box, select Knowledge Base collections.
Search the list by collection name and choose the ones you want to add.
Note
Only collections you have access to appear in the list, showing the collection name, owner, and file count. You can add only entire Knowledge Base collections, not individual files.
Select Add to PDF Space.
- The collection appears as a source in PDF Space.
- Files remain in their original repository and aren’t copied into PDF Space.
Ask questions in the AI Assistant chat and review the responses with citations showing where the information came from.
Optionally, customize the PDF Space as needed.
- Add text, images, or additional files to provide context.
- Add more Knowledge Base collections if required.
- Add a logo or other visual elements to tailor the PDF Space for your use or audience.
