When trying to update your Creative Cloud desktop app, you may see one of the following error messages:
- "Unable to sync. Install sync components and try again. Error Code 131"

Background processes are stalling app updates
You can resolve error 131 by force-quitting certain Creative Cloud background processes, such as Creative Cloud Content Manager, Creative Cloud Libraries Synchronizer, Adobe Content Synchronizer, and Node.
