Approve Adobe apps in Google Admin Console
Last updated on
Dec 16, 2024
Applies to enterprise.
Learn how to approve Adobe apps within the Google Admin Console for users under 18.
Starting on October 23, 2023, Google will require explicit approval of third-party apps for access by users, in your organization, under the age of 18. To complete this process, download a CSV file (from the Adobe Admin Console) with a list of Adobe for Education apps. Then upload this CSV file to the Google Admin Console.
Open the API controls / App Access Control page on the Google Admin Console.
Click Bulk update list.
Attach the CSV file (downloaded in step 1, above), and click Upload.
If you want to narrow the scope of each app to specific organization units, do one of the following:
- Approve each app using Add by Oauth App Name or Client ID in the Google Admin Console (the Adobe Client IDs are in column C of the CSV file)
- Or, edit column D of the CSV file by entering the complete path of the corresponding Org unit.
