Navigating Adobe Admin Console

Last updated on Aug 3, 2026

Understand Adobe Admin Console tabs and how they support license, user, product, security, storage, deployment, and support management.

The Admin Console provides a single interface for your organization to oversee Adobe products and services. As an admin, you can use it to manage the complete lifecycle of Adobe entitlements. The console's top-level navigation divides administrative tasks into tabs, each serving a distinct purpose. Each area helps you locate the right tools and manage your deployment.

Overview

The Overview tab provides a dashboard view of your organization's Adobe licenses and setup status. It shows how many licenses you've assigned from your total available entitlements for each product, giving you an instant snapshot of license utilization. For new organizations, the Overview includes quick-start actions that guide you through initial setup tasks, such as claiming domains, configuring identity, and adding your first users.

Products

The Products tab lets you assign Adobe apps and services to users and groups. If you’re a system admin, you can delegate the task of managing products to a specialized role known as Product admin.

Users

The Users tab provides options for creating and managing user accounts. You can add individual users one at a time or upload CSV files to perform bulk operations. User groups let you organize users by department, role, or project, making it easier to assign products and manage permissions at scale.

You can also assign administrative roles through administrator management, which determines what each administrator can do in the Admin Console. System administrators have full access, while specialized roles such as Product Admin, Deployment Admin, or Storage Admin have permissions limited to their respective areas.

Accounts

The Accounts tab lets system and contract administrators manage contracts, payment methods, and billing details. Contract admins can view contract status and anniversary dates, add or remove contract administrators, update payment information, and access invoices. The options you see depend on your purchase program. VIP and VIP Marketplace agreements each follow slightly different workflows.

Insights

The Insights tab provides access to license assignment reports that identify which users have which products assigned to them. Information from these reports supports deployment planning and helps optimize license usage.

Storage

The Storage tab provides visibility into and control over organization storage. You can view how much storage each user has consumed, manage individual and shared user folders, and adjust storage allocations as needed. Storage Administrators can manage these settings without requiring full system administrator access.

Packages

The Packages tab lets deployment administrators create and download software packages for desktop applications. You can build customized packages with the specific applications and configuration settings your organization needs or download pre-configured packages for standard deployments. You can also access deployment tools such as the Remote Update Manager and the Adobe Update Server Setup Tool. System administrators and deployment administrators can view the Packages tab.

Settings

The Settings tab lets system administrators configure organization-wide policies and integrations. System administrators and storage administrators can view the Settings tab. Key settings include:

Privacy and Security Contacts: System administrators must designate security, data protection, and compliance officers. If a security incident occurs, assigned officers are notified directly.

Console Settings: Administrators can add custom notes for end users. Notes can guide users on how to seek assistance. Administrators can also set a default email language for organizational notifications, including subscription changes or payment updates. Teams purchased directly from Adobe can be renamed through Console settings.

Content Logs: Administrators can download detailed reports on user activity with corporate assets, including folders, files, and libraries. These reports are referred to as content logs.

Asset Settings: Administrators can control how employees share organizational assets externally. These settings work with broader policy enforcement systems to ensure assets are shared only with authorized parties.

Authentication Settings: Administrators can define password protection levels and policies to enforce a uniform policy across all users.

Support

The Support tab connects you to Adobe Customer Care. The tab also provides links to documentation, forums, and other help resources regardless of offering type.
