Identify users with matching domains or payment methods

Last updated on Aug 3, 2026

Learn how to review and approve requests from Adobe's matching service to add users with matching domains or payment methods to your organization.

Adobe's matching service identifies users with a business email domain or a credit card that is the same as one linked to your team account, but who are not yet part of the team, and creates a matching request in these scenarios:

  • Team requests: When users with matching domains or payment methods, who have an individual trial or subscription, request to join your team. These could be new or existing Adobe users.
  • Team recommendations: When Adobe identifies users with individual accounts that match your business domains and recommends adding them to your team.

On accepting requests:

  • Requesters can use licenses, enterprise storage, and collaborate with other team members.
  • You can manage your team’s users, assets, and contracts all in one place.

Before you begin

  • A Creative Cloud for teams plan purchased directly from Adobe.
  • System Administrator access to the Admin Console.
  • Team matching enabled.

Add users with matching domains or payment methods

Sign in to the Admin Console and navigate to the Overview page.

Select Needs review in the Users section to review pending requests and recommendations.

Admin console displays the access requests pending for your review.

Approve or deny the pending matching requests.

Select Review for the relevant user.

Deferred requests appear in the Saved for later tab. Select Review at any time to review them.

Select the products to assign to the user.

Select one of the following actions:

  • Approve (or Approve and checkout): Add the user to your team with their assigned product. The user receives an email and can upgrade, cancel, or keep their individual plan. They can also choose to migrate assets to team storage or keep them separate.
  • Save for later: Moves the request to the Saved for later tab without notifying the user.
  • Decline: Dismiss the request and notify the user by email.

Enable or disable team matching

Team matching is enabled by default in your Admin Console to help discover and add team members. Admins can disable team matching for:

  • Users with email addresses that match a business domain linked to your account can't request access to your Admin Console organization.
  • You'll no longer receive suggestions to add users whose email addresses match your business domain.

Go to Admin Console > Products > Product requests.

Select Edit settings.

Under Team matching, enable or disable the setting.

Edit request access settings dialog ox displays the options to configure the requests.
Use Edit settings to enable Team matching for your organization and set the frequency of team matching notifications.

Select Save.

Review the changes made to the team matching settings in the Audit Log.

Also, we highly recommend turning on product requests, which allow your Admin Console users to request access to Adobe apps and services from the admins.
