Learn how credit packs provide flexible licensing for Adobe Stock assets outside your subscription plan.
Overview
Credit packs complement Adobe Stock subscription plans by providing on-demand access to assets that might not be included in your current subscription tier. Teams customers can access millions of royalty-free photos, videos, vectors, illustrations, templates, and 3D assets through a shared pool.
Packs are available in sizes ranging from 5 to 500 credits. Purchase them separately to handle unexpected requirements or seasonal surges without committing to a higher subscription level.
You can use credits for any existing and new asset types in the Adobe Stock library. Whether your current project requires premium photography, specialized illustrations, or video footage, the same credits apply across all asset categories.
User entitlements
Credits operate on a first-come, first-served basis across your entire team. All users automatically receive access to Stock credits and can redeem them to license assets, regardless of their specific product entitlements. Team members working on a project can license necessary assets immediately.
When you add new team members, Adobe Stock entitlements are added by default. New users receive an email notification confirming their access to Stock credits. To revoke Stock credit permissions, you must remove the user from your team entirely. There is no option to restrict Stock access while maintaining other product entitlements selectively.
Credit packs expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused credits don't roll over. Purchase new packs to continue accessing assets after they expire. Adobe sends notifications via the Admin Console and email when credits are low or fully consumed.
Purchasing options
Adobe Stock credit packs are currently available to Value Incentive Plan (VIP) teams and through direct purchases from Adobe. To purchase credit packs, contact your reseller or Adobe Sales. This purchasing model differs from subscription plans, which provide a fixed number of assets per month. Credit packs are one-time purchases with a defined credit quantity and a 12-month expiration, making them ideal for organizations with variable asset needs.
Credit pack visibility
All purchased credit packs appear in the Overview, Products, and Account tabs of the Admin Console. If your organization has purchased multiple credit packs, the Admin Console consolidates them into a single card that shows used and total credits.

View detailed credit pack information in the Products tab and select Adobe Stock - Credits.
Alternatively, access credit pack details by navigating to Account > Account and expanding Adobe Stock - Credits under Additional Products.
The Admin Console consumes credits based on expiration date, using credits from the earliest-expiring packs first. This maximizes the value of your purchases by minimizing the risk that unused credits will expire.
License history
The Adobe Stock website maintains a complete license history showing all assets your team has licensed, regardless of whether they were licensed through subscription plans or credit packs. This centralized record helps you track asset usage and identify which assets remain available.
To access your Stock license history, navigate to Products in the Admin Console, select Adobe Stock - Credits, select Details under the Adobe Stock logo, and select Go to Stock License History in the right pane. This redirects you to the Adobe Stock License History page, where you can review all licensed assets and their usage details.
License history shows how your team uses Stock assets. It helps guide purchases by revealing whether subscriptions, credit packs, or a mix best match actual usage patterns.
