Learn how to review and respond to user requests for Adobe products and services.
Product requests allow users in your organization to access Adobe products and services, including products that haven't been purchased. System Administrators can approve or deny requests in the Admin Console or via email. By default, product requests are enabled for all eligible organizations in the Admin Console.
Users can submit requests from:
- Adobe desktop applications
- Creative Cloud desktop app
- Creative Cloud on the web (desktop only)
- Adobe Stock
- Acrobat Sign
- Adobe Express
- Adobe Firefly
- Developer Console
- Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant
For products that don't support in-app requests and aren’t available on the Creative Cloud desktop app or web (like Acrobat Sign and Adobe Analytics), you can generate a Product Access URL using automatic assignment rules to assign immediate access to a specific product. Similarly, automatic assignment rules also allow selected users to be granted immediate access to a product. Learn more about the end-user request access experience.
Respond to requests through email
Admin received an email notification containing the requester’s details, available licenses, and product profile information (if applicable) when a user submits a request.
- Select Approve to grant access.
- Select Buy More if licenses aren't available.
- Select Review to change the assigned product profile when multiple profiles exist.
Respond to requests through the Admin Console
Select Review for the relevant request to view the request details, reason, and available products in your organization.
For enterprise products, select a Product Profile.
Review bundled requests by using Approve selected or Deny selected to action them:
- Enterprise admins: review bundles requests from the same user and select checkboxes for the requests you want to respond to if multiple requests appear and respond as desired.
- Teams admins: Multiple requests from the same user appear as separate line items, grouped under the user's name. Select Review on each product individually to take an action.
Enterprise admins can select Buy More to purchase additional licenses for the requester.
- If a user requests a Creative Cloud product that isn't available as a stand-alone application in your Admin Console, grant a Creative Cloud license, if available.
- If you have a Teams or VIP membership, purchase additional licenses by selecting Buy more.
- If you have an enterprise plan, you can approve requests for any products beyond the total licenses purchased in your plan and pay for additional licenses later. If a requested product is unavailable in your plan, contact your Adobe Account Manager to discuss your options.
Teams admins will review the Approve & checkout button when a product has no licenses available.
Select Approve to grant access or select Deny and choose a reason to reject the request.
Product requests expire after 60 days. Completed and expired requests remain available in the Audit Log for 90 days.
Approved requests assign the selected product to the user's Adobe account and send a confirmation email. Denied requests send an email with the selected reason. Users can submit a new request with a different business justification. To save time and give users faster access to apps, you can set up automatic assignment rules.
Set frequency for product request notifications
Configure how frequently System Administrators receive product request email notifications. Expiring requests (within 30 days) always trigger notifications regardless of the selected frequency.
Sign in to the Admin Console and navigate to Products > Product requests.
Select Edit settings.
Under Request access notifications, select the frequency at which administrators receive product request notifications and Save. Learn more about team matching for team matching notification details.
To review changes to product request settings, navigate to Audit Log.
Enable or disable product requests
Product requests are enabled by default for organizations using Adobe storage for business. If disabled:
- Users can't request Adobe products and services. You'll need to assign products to users manually.
- You won't receive any new requests. However, you can still review and respond to the ones previously received.
- Users can't request to join a Creative Cloud for Teams organization with a matching domain.
Sign in to the Admin Console and navigate to Products > Product requests.
Select Edit settings.
Use the Request Access toggle to allow or prevent product requests.
Select Save.
