Important

  • The migration workflow is available only for VIP accounts renewing to a Creative Cloud for teams Pro Edition subscription.
  • Migration can be completed only during the renewal window.
  • You must be the contract owner to perform the migration.
  • Benefits of Creative Cloud for teams Pro Edition

Creative Cloud for teams Pro Edition provides:

    • Unlimited access to Adobe Stock standard assets
    • Access to advanced Creative Cloud Pro features

    • A guided migration workflow that requires no administrative prework

    Migrate your users

The rules of migration are based on your organization's current set of entitlements. Your current products are evaluated to identify an equivalent match within Creative Cloud for teams Pro. If a matching product exists, a list of users is displayed during license assignment. The displayed list depends on the number of seats purchased on the new product. The following are the potential scenarios:

Number of licenses purchased equals the number of licenses available after migration.

Review the current list of users, and confirm whether all users must be moved to the new product.

You are prompted to remove the users who won't be migrated.

Migrate users manually (up to 50 users)

You can migrate up to 50 users manually to a Creative Cloud for teams Pro plan using the wizard.

Navigate to Admin Console > Overview, and select Assign licenses to open the license assignment tool.

Select Next. The Assign licenses page displays a list of users for assignment.

Assign the products to users, and then select Next.

Review and confirm license assignments. If you want to change license assignments, select Back and return to the Assign licenses page.

    Review assignments

Select Confirm. The selected users are migrated to the Creative Cloud Pro plan.

    Note

When migration completes, you are notified through a bell notification in the Admin Console. Your users receive email notifications for the upgraded plans. For more information, see notifications.

Migrate users in bulk (above 50 users)

If your team has more than 50 users, use the CSV upload method to assign licenses to users.

Navigate to Admin Console > Overview, and choose Assign licenses to open the License assignment tool.

Select Assign licenses by CSV to proceed.

In the Migrate users by CSV page, choose Download CSV template to download an empty template or a prepopulated list of your current users.

    Note

Adobe recommends that you download the CSV file with a prepopulated list of users. Update the entries in the Teams Product column with the matching Creative Cloud for teams Pro apps. Ensure that you enter the correct names of the Creative Cloud for teams Pro apps to avoid any issues.

    CSV upload

Open the CSV file on your local machine.

Select the Team Products column, which displays the current user entitlements for your entire organization.

For each product listed, duplicate the product name and append "- Pro Edition" at the end. Save the CSV file.

For example, consider a scenario where a CSV file includes a particular user with a Photoshop entitlement. To upgrade the user's entitlement, include the name of the matching Creative Cloud for teams Pro product, Photoshop - Pro Edition, separated by a comma.

    Note

For all Creative Cloud users, the product entitlement name must be updated to include "- Pro Edition". Entitlements, such as Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Stock for teams, don't include "- Pro Edition" at the end of the product name.

Drag the updated CSV file back to the page. Alternatively, you can upload your custom CSV file with details of license assignments for users.

Select Upload. Then, return to the Admin Console, and select Users to view the new product entitlements. Your users are migrated to Creative Cloud Pro plans based on your license assignments.

When migration completes, you are notified through a bell notification in the Admin Console. Your users receive email notifications for the upgraded plans. For more information, see notifications.

When a product is removed from a user, they receive an email informing that they lost access to their account. However, upgrading to Creative Cloud for teams-Pro Edition does not revoke users' access to their accounts.

To learn more about the bulk upload method, see Manage users | Bulk CSV upload.

Creative Cloud for teams Pro gives you unlimited access to assets in the Adobe Stock standard image collection with enhanced licenses.

    The subscription includes:

    • Standard images, such as photos, illustrations, and vectors
    • Standard templates included in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    • Standard 3D assets, such as models, lights, and materials

Currently, the following types of assets are not included in Creative Cloud for teams Pro:

    • Assets with Extended Licenses
    • Videos (HD, 4K) and certain motion graphics templates, and audio files
    • Assets from the Premium collection
    • Editorial collection

These assets can be easily licensed with Adobe Stock Credit Packs for teams. You have the flexibility to choose subscription plans and credit packs to suit your project and budget needs.

When you subscribe to Creative Cloud for teams Pro, all assets under the plan are included with an Enhanced License.

An Enhanced License gives you access to unlimited copies or views of an Adobe Stock asset. It's an upgrade from the Standard License which is included in the Adobe Stock "normal" subscription plan. An Enhanced License allows you unlimited downloads or views of an Adobe Stock asset. A Standard License limits it to 500,000.

However, an Enhanced License can’t be used in merchandise, templates, or products for resale and distribution. To learn more about different Adobe license types, visit https://stock.adobe.com/license-terms.

When you upgrade to Creative Cloud for teams Pro, you will have access to the same plan. As an upgraded user you can license unlimited Adobe Stock standard images. Once the images have been licensed, all team members can download and work with their team’s assets. Your previously licensed assets remain as part of your plan even if team members change.

Once you upgrade your plan to Creative Cloud for teams Pro, follow these steps:

Visit https://stock.adobe.com and sign in with your Adobe business ID. Once you sign in, the navigation pane on top shows “Unlimited images” on the upper-left corner.

Sign in again with your Adobe account. You can now license Adobe Stock assets within your chosen application.

In the New Document screen, select Create.

Search for images in the search bar.

You can use the search bar in the upper-right side of the screen to search for assets in Adobe Stock.

If you cancel your Creative Cloud for teams Pro edition plan or it expires, you can use licensed assets only for previously created projects. You can’t use your previously licensed assets for any new project or other use.
