Fix blank white screen after sign-in | Creative Cloud apps

When you try to sign in to a Creative Cloud app (such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom), a blank white screen appears after signing in. This issue usually occurs due to licensing-related issues.

How to fix this issue

Try the following solutions in the given order. Proceed to the next solution only if a previous one doesn't work.

Solution 1: Sign out of all active sessions

This issue can occur if you are logged in to your account from more than two devices. Follow the given steps to fix this issue.

  1. In the Sign-in and security screen, scroll down to Active sessions.

    Select Active sessions

  2. Select End all sessions.

  3. Once you are logged out of all active sessions, open the Creative Cloud desktop app. (Select the   icon in your Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar.)

  4. Select the Account icon in the upper right of the app, and then select Sign out.

  5. Sign in to the Creative Cloud desktop app again.

  6. Open the Creative Cloud app where you were facing the issue.

Solution 2: Remove Adobe Intermediate CA and Adobe Content certificates

Adobe apps download Adobe issued certificates on your computer. These certificates are required for Adobe apps to run. If these certificates are invalid, you must remove Adobe certificates downloaded on your computer. Follow the steps described below to fix this issue. Remember that invalid certificates can cause your Creative Cloud apps to crash at launch.

  1. Open Windows Certificate Manager.

    In the Windows Run dialog, type certmgr.msc and press Enter.

  2. In the Certificate Manager, select and delete all certificates starting with Adobe Intermediate CA and Adobe Content.

  3. Restart the app.

  1. Open Keychain Access (Finder > Go > UtilitiesKeyChain Access).

  2. In the left pane, select login under Keychains and Certificates under Category.

  3. Remove all certificates starting with Adobe Intermediate CA and Adobe Content.

  4. Restart the app.

Solution 3: Remove Adobe User and Adobe App certificates

Adobe apps download Adobe issued certificates on your computer. These certificates are required for Adobe apps to run. If these certificates are invalid, you must remove Adobe certificates downloaded on your computer. Follow the steps described below to fix this issue

  1. Open the Credential Manager (Select Start and type Credential Manager) and go to Windows Credentials.

  2. Remove all certificates starting with Adobe User and Adobe App.

  1. Open Keychain Access (Finder > Go > UtilitiesKeyChain Access).

  2. In the left pane, select login under Keychains and Secure Notes under Category.

  3. Remove all certificates starting with Adobe User and Adobe App.
