Comment on shared files

Add a comment for other apps

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app or Adobe Home and select Files > Shared with you  .

Hover over the file, select the more actions  icon, and then select Open  or Open in web  .

Tip

You can also use the collaboration invitation to directly open a shared file in the respective application.

Select the Comment   icon and use the Comments panel to add your comments.

To pin the comment on the file, select the Place a pin  icon and then select the place where you want to drop the pin.

A comment is displayed in the Add a comment field that appears on the right panel.
Use pinned comments to indicate which part of the shared file your comment refers to

Select Submit.

Add a comment for Acrobat

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app or Adobe Home and select Files > Shared with you

Hover over the PDF file, select the more actions  icon, and then select Open  or Open in web.

On the left panel, select the Add a Comment icon.  

Select the place to drop the Comment icon and use the panel to add your comments.

Use pinned comments to indicate which part of the PDF document your comment refers to

Select Post.

Note

If you want to notify a specific collaborator about your comment, type the @ sign followed by the person's name or email address. 

 

Reply, resolve, edit, or delete a comment

Open the file that you shared for comments.

Go to the comment you want to reply to and select Reply.

Add your comment and select Submit or Post.

To resolve the added comment, select the Resolve  icon. 

To edit or delete your comment, select the more actions  icon and then select Edit or Delete
