Home page in Adobe Acrobat Analyzer

The Home page is the default landing page when you sign in to Adobe Acrobat Analyzer. It provides direct access to your collections, attributes, and recent activity so you can begin analyzing documents immediately.

Use this page as your central workspace. From here, you can upload files, create collections, define attributes for analysis, and return to collections you recently worked on.

The Home page
A: + New menu; B: Primary navigation tabs; C: "Create new" tiles; D: "Recents" list; E: Sample collections

Navigate the primary controls

At the top of the page, the + New menu and primary navigation buttons remain available across all pages. These controls give you consistent access to the core features of Acrobat Analyzer.

+ New menu

Select + New to open a menu with four options:

  • Upload files
Upload individual files from your local system into the All Files collection. You can upload from any available drive, including network drives.
To upload files directly into a specific collection, see UPLOAD FILES TO COLLECTION.

  • Link files
Connect to an external document source, such as SharePoint, and create a linked collection. If no account is connected, select “add another account” to authenticate. If an account is already connected, select the authenticated email and then choose Select folders to map folders into a linked collection.
    See CREATE LINKED COLLECTIONS.

  • New collection
Start the wizard to create a new manual upload collection. Provide a name, and Acrobat Analyzer opens an empty collection page ready for uploaded documents.
See CREATE A NEW MANUAL UPLOAD COLLECTION.

  • New attribute
Open the Attributes page with the create panel expanded so you can define a new attribute for analysis.
    See CREATE A CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE.

Primary navigation buttons

The buttons below + New provide persistent navigation:

  • Home — Opens the Home page.
  • Collections — Opens the Collections page, where you manage document collections.
  • Attributes — Opens the Attributes page where you create and manage attribute definitions.
  • Settings — Opens the Account Settings page, which contains administrative configuration options.

These controls let you switch between organizing documents, configuring analysis, and managing account settings at any time.

Start new work or return to recent collections

The main body of the Home page helps you either start a new analysis or continue an analysis already in progress.

Create a collection or attribute

Two tiles provide quick access to common workflows:

  • Create a Collection - Opens the wizard to create a new manual upload collection.
  • Create attributes for analysis - Opens the attribute creation panel so you can define a new attribute and begin extracting structured data from your documents.

Use these tiles when starting new work. They provide direct entry points into organizing documents and defining how information should be extracted.

Recents list

The Recents table lists collections you have interacted with most recently.

Select a collection name to open it.

If you own the collection, an ellipsis menu appears next to its name. Selecting the ellipsis provides two options:

  • Share - Launch the sharing workflow to grant other users access to the collection.
    See SHARE A COLLECTION.
  • Delete - Start the deletion workflow to permanently remove the collection.
    See DELETE COLLECTION.

Use the Recents list to quickly return to ongoing projects without navigating through the full Collections page.

Explore sample collections

The lower section of the Home page includes two sample collections that allow you to explore the product using example documents:

  • Sample sales agreements - Opens a collection containing example sales contracts.
  • Sample supplier agreements - Opens a collection containing example supplier agreements.

Use these sample collections to experiment with attributes and analysis features before working with your own uploaded or linked documents.

How the Home page fits into your workflow

Use the Home page to:

  • Start new manual upload collections or linked collections.
  • Upload documents for analysis.
  • Create and manage attributes.
  • Return to recent collections.

As you work in Acrobat Analyzer, the Home page remains your primary launch point for organizing documents and transforming unstructured content into structured, searchable insights.
