Recover Content Credentials through possible matches

If Content Credentials are stored in the Adobe Content Credentials cloud, they can be recovered even from a screenshot.

Some Adobe apps and services embed Content Credentials directly into an asset. However, if the asset undergoes processing on a platform that removes metadata, such as being uploaded to a platform that doesn’t support Content Credentials, the credentials may be lost and unrecoverable using the Inspect tool. If found, matching Content Credentials are listed from oldest to newest, with the earliest version shown first.

Tip

Use the Adobe Content Authenticity Chrome browser extension to view Content Credentials across the web.
