Sign into Adobe Home on the web.
Use AI Assistant to get help with installing and updating apps, finding tools, learning new skills, and generating ideas, all from one conversation in Creative Cloud desktop app and Adobe Home.
AI Assistant in the Creative Cloud desktop app and Adobe Home is currently available to a small number of users. If you don’t see AI Assistant in Adobe Home, it isn’t available to you yet.
Overview
AI Assistant is a conversational helper built into the Creative Cloud desktop app and Adobe Home. Describe what you want to do in your own words for AI Assistant to respond with answers, recommendations, or actions that save you time on the work around your creative work.
The experience is the same whether you use the Creative Cloud desktop app or Adobe Home on the web. The place you start a conversation may differ slightly between the two.
Before you begin
- To gain access, you need to be part of the AI Assistant public beta. Beta access is turned on for your Adobe account; there’s nothing to install separately.
- You’re signed in to Creative Cloud with the Adobe ID that has beta access.
- You’re using the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app.
- You have an internet connection. AI Assistant doesn’t work offline.
What you can do with AI Assistant
- Install, update, and launch apps. Ask AI Assistant to install an app, update your apps, or open an app you use often.
- Discover apps and features. Describe your project and get recommendations for the Adobe apps and features that suit it.
- Start with an idea. Brainstorm concepts, taglines, or directions, and generate images from a text description.
Ask AI Assistant for help
Select AI Assistant on the left sidebar.
Type what you want to do in the prompt box, or select one of the suggested prompts.
Press Enter or select Send.
Review the response. Depending on your request, the AI Assistant may answer your question, suggest next steps, or offer to take an action for you.
If the AI Assistant asks you to confirm an action, such as installing or updating an app, review the details and Confirm to continue.
Keep the conversation going. Reply with follow-up questions or ask the AI Assistant to refine its answer.
Be specific. “Help me find the right app to design a social media post and show me how to start” gets better results than “help me design.”
Example prompts
- “Update all my Creative Cloud apps.”
- “Install Adobe Illustrator and open it.”
- “Which Adobe app should I use to edit a short video for Instagram?”
- “I’m new to Photoshop. Where should I start?”
- “Give me five tagline ideas for a coffee shop and generate an image to go with the first one.”
- “How do I change my payment method?”
Start a new conversation or review a previous one
To start fresh, select New chat. During the beta, AI Assistant keeps a limited conversation history.
Some AI Assistant requests, such as generating images, use generative credits. Credit use applies to the users who have access to the private beta.
- Requests that use generative credits count toward your plan’s monthly credit allocation, the same as other Adobe generative AI features.
- If you run out of credits, AI Assistant lets you know and shows your options.
To check your credit balance, go to your Adobe account and select the Account icon in the upper-right corner.
