Cannot find plugins on Adobe Exchange

Last updated on Oct 14, 2026

Learn how to restore missing Adobe Exchange plugins by syncing updates and refreshing plugin data in Creative Cloud.

Plugins are out of sync

If you can’t find the plugins you acquired on the Adobe Exchange website, the Creative Cloud desktop app may not have fully synced with your account. Follow these steps to refresh your plugin list.

Select the Creative Cloud   icon in the Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar to open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

In the Apps tab on the left sidebar, select Your apps.

Select Your apps to view all the apps installed on your machine
Your apps view lists installed Adobe apps and lets you quickly open apps, review product information, and manage updates.

In Your apps panel, select Manage updates and then choose Check for updates.

The expanded menu allows you to enable auto updates, check for updates, and update all apps.
Selecting Check for updates initiates a manual update check for installed Creative Cloud apps and refreshes related app and plugin information associated with your account.

Check for and install any available app updates.

After installing updates, go to the Stock & Marketplace > Manage plugins to view your acquired plugins and extensions.

The Stock & Marketplace screen displays Manage plugins tab where you can view your installed plugins.
You can locate the installed plugin's card to view its version and feature-related information.

Your plugins should now show up on Adobe Exchange as well.
