Unable to apply Content Credentials
Last updated on
Sep 3, 2025
Try these solutions to fix issues with applying Content Credentials.
File format does not meet the requirements
Content Credentials can only be applied to JPG or PNG files, with a maximum of 50 files at a time. Each file must not exceed 20MB.
Incompatible file properties
Content Credentials can’t be applied to the files that:
- Are corrupted
- Are less than 256x256px in dimension
- Uses a color space other than RGB (CMYK)
- Have other Content Credentials applied to them that are collectively too large to store in the cloud
Connectivity issues
Content Credentials can’t be applied if there’s a connection issue with a required service. Try again after the connection is restored.
Note
If someone else has applied Content Credentials to your content, contact us at abuse@adobe.com.
