Overview

The native scaling for a drawn signature does not take full advantage of the signature field size, often resulting in relatively small signature images in the document.

Enabling the Apply Adaptive Signature Draw scaling feature refactors how the signature image is placed within the field to provide a larger, more legible signature.

Note:

Accounts created before the November 2023 release must explicitly enable this feature and ensure that the enlarged signature graphic does not negatively impact their documents.

Accounts created after the November 2023 release have the feature enabled by default.

How it's used

Once the setting is enabled, there is no further configuration or manipulation available. The drawn signature will dynamically scale within the  confines of the signature field.

Best practices

Currently, there is no known reason not to enable this option. The increased scaling provides a better, more legible signature which is generally felt to be a better experience.
