Change the language used for the Acrobat Sign elements of the e-signing process.

Change the Acrobat Sign system localization for an agreement

Recipients who would like to change the localization used in the agreement controls can change the system controls to one of over 30 languages.

Note:

Changing the localization only changes the language in the Acrobat Sign systems and interface.

It will not translate the agreement files nor the content manually entered by the sender (e.g., The agreement name, global and private messages, field content)

  1. Open the agreement by selecting the Review and sign link in your email notification.

The "Review and sign" email with the link highlighted.

  2. Accept the Terms of Use and Consumer Disclosure as prompted.
Depending on how the sending account is configured, the Terms of Use and Consumer Disclosure can be presented in different ways, all of which are conspicuous in the interface to direct the recipient through the process.

  3. Select the Language dropdown at the bottom-left of the window and pick the language you would like to use.

The e-sign page with the languages dropdown expanded and highlighted.

The e-sign page refreshes, displaying the system controls localized into the selected language.

The e-sign page with the updated localization (in Spanish).

    Note:

Acrobat Sign remembers the recipient's choice to change the localization for their participation, and will deliver any future reminders in the language selected:

The new localized "Review and sign" email (in Spanish).
