Open your Adobe app.
When signing in to your Adobe account, you may be prompted to scan a QR code. Learn how to use the QR code for signing in.
You’re using an outdated operating system or Adobe app
When you open your Adobe app and see a QR code instead of the usual sign-in screen, it means your Windows system or Adobe app version uses Internet Explorer 11 components. Adobe no longer supports these older browser technologies for authentication. The QR code provides a secure way to sign in when using an outdated setup.
To resolve the issue:
Scan the QR code using your phone or tablet. Ensure that you:
- Scan the QR code properly.
- Keep the camera lens clean.
- Have proper lighting and distance.
Alternatively, you can copy the link obtained by scanning the QR code and paste it into an updated web browser.
Use your email address and password to sign in to your Adobe account.
Return to the Adobe app on your computer and wait for it to sign you in.
The QR code method is a temporary solution. Adobe strongly recommends updating your operating system and Adobe apps to the latest versions. This ensures that you continue to receive the latest security patches and enhancements.
