Close a duplicate Adobe account

Last updated on Jan 27, 2026

Adobe recommends creating a single account to manage all your subscriptions. Learn what to do if you unintentionally created a duplicate account.

Duplicate Adobe accounts are often created when you sign up with different email addresses or sign-in methods. If this happens, you can close the extra account and continue using a single Adobe account.

Before you begin, make sure that you:

  • Identify the account that you no longer need.
  • Ensure you can sign in to the duplicate account.
Note

Once you've signed up for a subscription, you can't transfer it to another Adobe account.

Sign in to your duplicate account.

Cancel any active subscriptions on your duplicate account.

(Optional) Delete the duplicate account.

Note

Deleting the account permanently removes access to its data and history.

Sign in to the Adobe account you want to keep and continue using Adobe services..

You now have a single Adobe account to manage your subscriptions and services.
