Resolve sign-in issues with step-by-step solutions for password resets, verification code issues, and account recovery.

Try these solutions if you can’t sign in to your Adobe account due to incorrect credentials, missing verification codes, or trouble identifying the correct email.

Forgot Adobe password or entered it incorrectly

Reset your password from the Adobe account sign-in page. Your password is case-sensitive, so enter uppercase and lowercase letters carefully.

Forgot Adobe password and can’t access other authentication methods

If you've enabled two-step verification for your account and forgotten your password, you need access to at least two of the following to retrieve it:

  • Email address linked to your Adobe account
  • Mobile phone number linked to your Adobe account
  • The Adobe Account Access app

If you don’t have access, we recommend creating a new account. To cancel a subscription on your previous account, contact our support team with your card details.

Entered an incorrect email address while signing in

If you entered an incorrect email address or forgot which address you used, you'll receive an error message stating, "We don't have an account with this email address" when trying to sign in. To resolve this issue:

Go to https://account.adobe.com and select Get help signing in.

In the Get help window, select Find your account.

Adobe sign-in help screen showing the Get help panel with the Find your account option highlighted and Reset your password listed below.
The feature helps you find the email address or phone number associated with your Adobe account.

Enter the email address or registered phone number that you may have previously used.

Select Continue to find an account with matching email or phone number.

Once you find your account, use the email or phone number to sign in.
