Acrobat does not support Twain drivers on Mac

Acrobat is a 64-bit application on Mac due to which 32-bit TWAIN drivers are not supported.

Update:

With the July release of Acrobat, we have added support for 64-bit TWAIN drivers on macOS.

Wokaround

Users can still continue to use the ICA drivers for scanning. The corresponding drivers can be downloaded from App Store update (as shown in the following snapshot) once the scanner is connected.
