Ask the AI Assistant to perform PDF tasks for you.
Before you begin:
Multi-tool and content-aware prompts are available to individual Acrobat Pro and Studio plan users only, and are not yet supported on Teams or Enterprise plans. Check the supported tools and actions to confirm what is available on your plan.
Select AI Assistant from the top bar to open the chat panel.
In the chat field, type your request in plain language, such as Delete the last two pages, Compress this file, or use prompt examples to find one that fits your task.
Select Submit to complete the task.
Note
If your prompt involves multiple tools, AI Assistant shares a plan before performing the action. Review the response and type Yes to confirm the actions.
(Optional) Type Undo to revert the change.
Tip
If an action doesn't run as expected, include more details in your prompt, such as page numbers or file names. AI Assistant also provides step-by-step guidance for tools that don’t support the chat feature. Check common issues and fixes if the problem persists.
