When you log in to your Adobe ID account, Adobe occasionally reminds you to add your mobile phone number for account recovery. Once you add the mobile phone number, you can reset your password using a code sent to your mobile phone.
It is not mandatory to provide your phone number. You can reset your password using your email address that is associated with your Adobe ID account. Adding a phone number, however, provides you the additional convenience of using your mobile phone to reset your password.
If you do not want to add your phone number at this point, click SKIP.
If you are not able to add your phone number, contact us.
You can also add the phone number directly to your Adobe ID account. For more information, see Add phone for account recovery.
To change the phone number associated with your Adobe ID account, see Change address or phone number.
If you forgot your password or get the error “Adobe ID and password don’t match,” follow these steps to reset your password using your phone:
In the Forgot password window, enter the email address associated with your Adobe ID, and then click Next.
In the Reset your password window, choose how you want to reset your password: using email or phone, and then click Next.
If you have not added your phone number to your account or if you choose to reset password using your email, Adobe sends an email to the address you entered with instructions to reset your password. To add a phone number for account recovery, see Manage your Adobe ID account.
