Cookies on typekit.com

The Typekit blog and website both use cookies for functionality and analytics. The font network has never set cookies or relied on cookies, but shares a domain name with those sites. If someone has recently visited typekit.com, and then visits a site with embed code pointing to use.typekit.com, the site cookies would be sent with the font request.

The default embed code now serves fonts from use.typekit.net. This domain has never had cookies set on it, which avoids this unnecessary data being sent.
