Review general analytics

Last updated on Aug 20, 2026

Review high-level activity and adoption across your organization.

The General tab in Analytics summarizes current collections, document ingestion, transactions, chatbot configurations, and connector status across Knowledge Base in Acrobat. Each chart includes a cumulative total for the values displayed in that section.

Open general analytics

Sign in to Knowledge Base in Acrobat as an administrator.

Select Analytics from the navigation menu.

Select the General tab.

Review current collections

Total number of current collections shows how many collections currently exist in the organization.

This is a current total rather than a monthly activity metric.

Review documents ingested

Documents ingested shows the number of documents ingested during each of the six months displayed.

The cumulative total combines the monthly values shown in the chart.

Review transactions

Total number of transactions shows monthly transaction totals for the six months displayed.

Each bar separates transactions into these categories:

  • Web AI Assistant
  • Chatbots
  • PDF Spaces
  • API queries
  • Web search
  • Direct to LLM
  • MCP

The cumulative total combines the displayed transaction categories and months.

Review chatbot configurations

Total chatbots shows the number of configured chatbots for:

  • Slack
  • Teams

The cumulative total combines both platforms.

Review active connectors

Total number of active connectors shows connector totals for:

  • SharePoint
  • Google Drive

Each ring chart shows the total number of connectors for its platform and separates them into:

  • In sync
  • Out of sync

The cumulative total combines the SharePoint and Google Drive connector counts.

View connector details

Select View details to open the organization-wide connector list. See [Review connectors].

How it works

The page combines two types of analytics:

  • Current-state totals for collections, chatbot configurations, and connectors.
  • Monthly activity for document ingestion and transactions.

Use the Collections and Users tabs when you need analytics for specific collections or users. Use View details when you need organization-wide information about individual connectors.

Best practices

  • Review out-of-sync connector counts regularly and open the connector list when investigation is needed.
  • Use the Collections tab to investigate collection-level trends.
  • Use the Users tab to investigate user-level activity.

Things to know

  • You must be an administrator to access Org analytics.
  • The document and transaction charts show six months of monthly values.
  • Cumulative totals apply only to the values displayed in their associated section.
  • Connector totals include both in-sync and out-of-sync connectors.
  • The charts do not support drill-down navigation.
  • View details opens the Connectors tab under Assets.
