Refresh collection

Update one collection or refresh all collections to include the latest available content.

Refreshing a collection updates its indexed content so searches, summaries, and AI-generated responses use the latest available information. You can refresh an individual collection or refresh every collection available from a collection tab.

Refresh a collection

From the Knowledge Base home page, select the Collections filter.

Open the collection you want to refresh.

Select the Refresh icon in the collection toolbar.

Refresh a collection to update its indexed content with the latest available document information.

Knowledge Base begins refreshing the collection. The update may take time to complete, depending on the number and size of its documents.

Refresh all collections

You can refresh all collections available from any of the following tabs:

  • All collections
  • My collections
  • Shared collections

To refresh all collections:

From the Knowledge Base home page, select the Collections filter.

Select All collections, My collections, or Shared collections.

Select Refresh.

Knowledge Base begins refreshing every collection available from the selected tab.

Things to know

  • Refreshing a collection does not remove its documents or change its sharing settings.
  • Refreshing all collections may take time when your organization has many collections or large volumes of content.
  • Shared collections may require appropriate access before you can refresh them.
  • Updated content may not appear immediately while processing continues.
