Use the Knowledge Base in Acrobat Home page

Last updated on Jul 20, 2026

The Home page brings recent chats, active collections, and ongoing AI conversations together in one place so users can quickly resume work.

The Knowledge Base Home page is the central starting point for accessing collections, continuing AI conversations, and managing recent activity. It surfaces active chats and recently used collections while also providing direct access to collection management and AI-related workflows.

The Home page is organized into three primary sections:

  • Previous chats
  • Recent chats
  • Recent collections

Together, these areas help users continue ongoing work, manage conversations, and quickly return to active knowledge domains.

Previous chats

The Previous chats section displays the most recent AI conversation available to the current user.

Users can resume the conversation directly from the Home page by selecting Resume chat. The existing chat opens in the AI Assistant, allowing the conversation to continue within the same thread.

This section helps users quickly return to unfinished or ongoing conversations.

Recent chats

The Recent chats section lists conversation threads the user has recently interacted with.

Selecting a chat opens the existing conversation in the AI Assistant.

Each chat includes a More menu represented by a three-dot icon. The menu provides options to:

  • Rename the chat
  • Delete the chat

These controls help users organize and manage conversation history directly from the Home page.

Recent collections

The Recent collections section displays collections the user has recently opened or interacted with.

Selecting a collection opens it directly, allowing users to continue reviewing files, managing content, or interacting with the AI Assistant using that collection as the active knowledge domain.

Each collection includes a More menu represented by a three-dot icon. The menu provides access to additional collection management actions, including:

  • Share collections
  • Change owner
  • Custom instruction
  • Manage connectors
  • Manage chatbots
  • Rename
  • Lock
  • Delete
  • Usage details

These actions provide direct access to collection administration, AI customization, connected services, and usage-related workflows without leaving the Home page.
