Manage connectors

View, add, edit, and review the connectors associated with a collection.

You manage connectors from the Collections page. Each collection has its own connector list, where you can add a connector, refresh the displayed information, edit an existing connector, or review its synchronization history.

Open the connector list

From the Knowledge Base home page, select the Collections filter.

Find the collection whose connectors you want to manage.

Select the ellipsis next to the collection name.

A window opens and lists the connectors defined for the collection.

Add a connector

Open Manage connectors for the collection.

Select the Add icon.

Choose the connector type.

Enter the required connector details.

Save the connector.

Knowledge Base creates the connector and begins its initial synchronization according to the configured behaviour.

Edit a connector

Open Manage connectors for the collection.

Find the connector you want to update.

Select the ellipsis next to the connector.

Select Edit.

Update the available settings.

Update your changes.

Review synchronization history

Use Sync History to review previous synchronization activity.

Open Manage connectors for the collection.

Find the connector you want to review.

Select the ellipsis next to the connector.

Select Sync History.

Review the available synchronization records.

The history can help you confirm when a synchronization ran and identify reported failures or incomplete updates.

Select the Clear history icon to delete the history if desired.

Refresh the connector list

Select Refresh at the top of the Manage connectors window to update the information shown for all listed connectors.

Refreshing the list does not add a connector or change its configuration.

Things to know

Connectors are managed from the Collections page, not from inside an open collection.
Manage connectors lists only the connectors defined for the selected collection.
Add new and Refresh apply to the connector list as a whole.
Edit and Sync History apply to an individual connector.
The available settings and synchronization details depend on the connector type.
