Set comment properties

Learn how to set properties such as color and appearance for comments in Adobe Acrobat.
Right-click a comment and select Properties.
In the dialog box that opens, modify any of the following as needed:
- General: Change the author name and subject of the comment.
- Appearance: Adjust options such as color, opacity, and icon type for note comments. Available options depend on the comment type.
- Review History: View changes made to the comment's status during a review.
- Locked: Prevent the comment from being edited or deleted.
- Make Properties Default: Apply the current properties to all subsequent comments of this type.
Select OK.
Set the default look for a tool
Right-click the comment and select Properties.
Set the properties under Appearance tab as desired.
To set the default look, select Make Current Properties Default.
Select OK.
