Resolve Acrobat crashes at launch on macOS.
On macOS, after the June 2026 update, Adobe Acrobat may crash at startup or when users perform workflows such as editing PDFs. This usually happens because installation files are corrupted.
Corrupted or outdated installation files
Run the Acrobat Cleaner Tool to remove the existing Acrobat installation.
Restart your Mac after the cleanup process completes.
Select the latest Acrobat installer for your macOS and download it to your computer.
Launch the installer and install Acrobat.
Once installation is complete, launch Acrobat and verify that the application opens successfully.
