Acrobat installation errors

Resolve common issues that prevent Acrobat installation.

Tip

If an error code appears, follow the solution in Fix errors with your Adobe apps. If no error code appears, use the following solutions.

Installer exits before setup completes

Quit the installer and Creative Cloud desktop app.

Restart your computer.

Launch the Acrobat installer again.

If it still fails, follow the instructions in Creative Cloud desktop application "Installation Failed" error message.

Operating system doesn’t meet system requirements

Check the technical requirements for Adobe Acrobat.

Update the operating system to meet the system requirements.

Launch the Acrobat installer again.

Background applications block installation

Close running applications.

Run the Acrobat installer again.

Installer cannot connect to Adobe servers

Check your internet connection.

Run the Acrobat installer again.
