Can't enable forms for Acrobat Reader users

Learn what to do when you are unable to enable forms for Adobe Acrobat Reader users.
Incompatible Acrobat version
The form-enabling feature isn't available in Adobe Acrobat Reader. To let Acrobat Reader users fill in and save a form, use Acrobat Pro 2020 or later to save it as a Reader Extended PDF. Acrobat 2023 or later is recommended. For steps, see how to enable filling and saving rights for Acrobat Reader users.
