Why was I charged a higher amount this time?


If you were charged a higher amount on your bill than previously, check for the following possible reasons:

  • A promotional price for your membership ended and you were charged the regular price after the renewal.
  • You subscribed to the trial version of Adobe Stock, which moved to a paid bundled pack after the trial ended.
  • You purchased an Adobe Stock premium image or purchased additional Adobe Stock images (beyond your monthly plan allotment).
  • The membership price in your region increased recently.

Why am I being double-charged?


If there are two similar charges on your bill, it could be due to several reasons:

  • You recently purchased a product or service using the same or another Adobe ID (typically your email address).
  • You canceled your annual plan before its renewal date. 
  • An unpaid payment from the previous month was carried over to this month's bill.
  • You purchased products separately on different Adobe IDs using the same card.
  • You placed an order multiple times.

I did not buy anything from Adobe. Why did I get a charge on my bill?

If there is an unexpected charge from Adobe on your credit card bill, check for the following possible reasons:

  • You forgot to cancel a trial version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Stock, which converted to a regular subscription after the trial period.
  • You purchased a service, such as PDF Pack, that is paid yearly.

Why did I receive a payment reminder from Adobe when I already paid?

You could have received a payment reminder for any of the following reasons:

  • You have more than one subscription.
  • You purchased a product or service using another Adobe ID (usually your email address).
  • Your credit card expired or the address on your credit card changed.

Why can't I update my credit card information?

If you can't update your credit card information or you don't see any option to update the information, check for the following possible reasons:

  • Your browser is not compatible with the accounts page.
  • You are trying to update the credit card information on your renewal/billing date.
  • The payment was due over 30 days ago.

Why is there an extra charge on my bill?

If you see an extra charge on your bill, it could be because:

  • You canceled an annual plan before its renewal date, and were charged an early termination fee. 
  • You purchased additional Stock images (beyond your monthly plan).
  • You downloaded a trial version of Adobe Acrobat, which converted to a paid subscription after the trial period. 
  • You made an auto-renewal payment for an annual plan you subscribed to last year, such as Create PDF, PDF Pack, Export PDF, or Fill & Sign.
