Learn how to upload a model or property release. You can upload existing releases that you've already submitted to Adobe Stock, or create a new one.
Purpose of model and property releases
When your content features recognizable people, private property, artwork, or distinctive objects, Adobe requires a signed model or property release. This ensures that your content is legally protected and ready for commercial licensing.
- A model release is required for any identifiable person.
- A property release is required for recognizable private property artwork or distinctive objects.
Upload a model or property release
Once you’ve created a model or property release using Adobe’s release form or your own compliant release, follow these steps to upload it to your Contributor account:
In the Uploaded Files tab, select the content for which you want to attach a model or property release.
In the right panel, select Yes under Recognizable people or property?, and then choose Search for an existing release or Create a new release.
To create a new release, select Adobe Sign or Bulk upload scanned releases.
The releases can only be PDFs, with a maximum size of 10 MB.
When uploading a new release, enter the first and last name, email address, release language, date signed, and your role.
Once your release is attached, complete the metadata and select Review request. You’ll see the review listed under the asset in your Uploaded Files tab.
If your document includes multiple releases, you can upload them together; however, make sure each release is legible and complete.
