Submit photos to Adobe Stock

Last updated on Jun 11, 2026

Learn how to upload and and submit your photos through the Contributor portal to license on Adobe Stock.

The photo submission process includes uploading your files, entering metadata, and submitting them for moderation. If your photos feature recognizable people or property, you need to get the required model or property releases before you start. Submitting well-edited, accurately keyworded photos improves your acceptance rate and helps customers discover your work.

Pre-submission review

Before uploading photos to Adobe Stock:

  • View the photo at 100% full resolution or higher to catch issues that may affect quality or lead to content refusal.
  • Save your photo as a JPEG in the sRGB color space and ensure it meets the required file size.
  • Ensure your metadata is accurate and relevant to the photo.
  • Organize any required model or property releases to upload with your photo.
