Learn how to upload single icons or icon sheets to Adobe Stock through the Contributor Portal.
After preparing your vector icons or icon sheets, upload them to the Contributor Portal for moderation and inclusion in the collection.
Pre-submission review
Before uploading, review your work and ensure it meets the following guidelines:
- View your file in outline mode to ensure your gradients have maintained their integrity, and there are no raster images.
- Zoom in to 100% or closer and look around the image to ensure it does not include any stray anchor points or poorly joined lines.
- Submit release forms for any reference work used or recognizable people or property, even if the recognizable person is you or the property is yours.
- Tag single icons and icon sheets when appropriate.
Icons submission process
In the top panel, select Upload.
Select Browse, and choose the content you want to upload, or drag and drop it into the Contributor Portal.
In the New tab, wait for Adobe Stock to automatically generate a preview matching your content
Specify the required metadata:
- Category: Choose the category that best describes the subject of the content.
- Title: Describe what is featured in the icon or icon sheet.
- Keywords: Add 5-50 keywords that are relevant and true to your content. Start with the most important ones, as they help determine search ranking. Use Adobe Stock’s AI keyword suggestions to save time and improve discoverability. Learn more about writing effective titles and keywords and choosing the right category for content submissions.
Review your submission to confirm visual quality, file format, and metadata accuracy.
If your icons includes recognizable people or private property, attach the required model or property releases. Upload files or collect digital signatures using Adobe Acrobat Sign.
Select Submit and wait for a moderation notification about approval or required changes.
The moderation team reviews submissions for quality, legal compliance, and technical standards. Approved content appears in Adobe Stock search results and becomes available for customer licensing. Track the submission status, manage your portfolio, and view earnings in the Contributor Dashboard within the Contributor Portal.
