Design templates must meet specific requirements and guidelines to be accepted into our collection. Review the following primary guidelines for essential information:

General best practices

To keep your templates relevant and easy to use:

• Submit seasonal templates two to three months prior to the event (i.e., submit December Holiday templates in September).
• When using dates that include the year, use 20XX instead of a specific year (i.e., 2026) to keep your templates evergreen.
• Organize and label layers, pages, and artboards clearly so customers can easily customize your content.

Design template file submission requirements

Each template must meet format, color space, and resolution requirements to pass technical review. Every design template should be packaged as an individual .zip file with the following  three elements only:

• Template file
• Thumbnail image
• Preview image

Template file specifications

Each template file must use the following template format and file size.

Print template specifications

Contributors can use the print template specifications to print brochures, business cards, flyers, and magazines.

Screen and digital template specifications

Contributors can use screen and digital specifications templates for social media posts, web banners, presentations, and mobile UI.

Thumbnail image specifications

The thumbnail image is the first visual customers see in search results. This file must be named exactly as shown with proper capitalization.

Preview image specifications

The preview image shows customers how the template can be used. This file must be named exactly as shown with proper capitalization.
