Learn about vector submissions and supported file types for vectors in Adobe Stock.

Vectors are a flexible and powerful part of the Adobe Stock collection. Customers rely on them for everything from logos and branding to digital illustrations, product packaging, motion graphics, and more. Whether it’s scaling an illustration for a billboard or tweaking the color of icons, vectors offer customers unmatched flexibility.

As a Contributor, submitting high-quality vectors can increase income opportunities and ensure your content can be used for a variety of purposes. When vectors are created and submitted correctly, they become solutions for customers around the world.

Vector submission basics

To ensure the content meets Adobe Stock standards and works smoothly for customers, Contributors must submit vectors in these formats:

  • AI (Adobe Illustrator files)
  • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
  • SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
Note

We don't accept vector files saved in ZIP folders or uploaded as JPEGs.

Transparent vectors

A customer downloading a vector automatically receives:

  • A JPEG preview
  • An original EPS, AI, or SVG vector

If the vector uses a transparent or flat-color background, Adobe automatically creates a transparent PNG for customers. Contributors don’t need to upload a separate transparent file.

This auto-generated PNG makes it easier for customers to use the Contributor's content in web design, overlays, or drag-and-drop workflows, helping the vectors reach projects that benefit from quick implementation without additional editing required.

Submitting high-quality vectors can increase the earning potential and expand how the Contributor's content is used across creative and commercial projects worldwide.
