Technical requirements for vector submissions

Last updated on Jun 11, 2026

Learn the technical requirements to ensure successful submission and optimal preview quality for uploaded content on Adobe Stock.

Meeting the technical requirements ensures that the vectors display correctly in search results and provide customers with files they can edit and scale for any project size.

EPS files should either be exported at 15MP or more, or exported with the "High Resolution" Transparency Presets to ensure preview images are displayed at optimal quality. EPS files larger than 15MP can export EPS Transparency Presets at 72PPI to remain smaller than the 45MB maximum file size.

Suggested keywords and metadata

If your submitted vector doesn't have a title or any embedded keywords, the Contributor Portal will automatically suggest a title and up to 25 keywords. Review them and edit, reorder, or remove keywords as needed, arranging them in the order of importance. This is an integral step, as the first ten keywords listed are prioritized in search results.

If you added your titles and keywords to your JPEG preview images within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, or another image-editing application, Adobe Stock will preserve them. You can edit metadata prior to submitting your final content.

Learn more about the comprehensive guide on titles and keywords or the artist field guide for examples and additional information.

By following these guidelines and continuing to innovate and grow with us, you’re contributing to a collection with lasting impact. We can’t wait to see what you create next.
