Learn the guidelines for using artist names, real people, and fictional characters in generative AI content, including restrictions, exceptions, and content type eligibility.
Artist names, real-known people, or fictional character names cannot be included in titles, keywords, or used in prompts for generative AI:
- Include or reference the name of an artist (including single-name artists).
- Include or reference real known people.
- Include or reference fictional characters.
- Include or reference creative work names, such as a movie, franchise, comic, art, design, or architecture.
- Include or reference other creative work, such as “...in the style of...”, “...inspired by...”, “...influenced by...”, “...in the tradition of...”, or “.... drawing on...”.

Illustrative editorial content that includes or references an Artist, a real person, or a fictional character name in a relevant context may be accepted. All other guidelines still apply.
