Learn how to update titles, keywords, and categories for approved or uploaded assets through the Contributor Portal.

Refining metadata improves search visibility and helps customers discover content on Adobe Stock. Content can be edited before submission or after approval and publication, but not during moderation, with updates allowed for titles, keywords, categories, and other metadata.

Before you edit your content, confirm the following:

  • You have an active Adobe Stock Contributor account.
  • You have uploaded content to the Contributor Portal.
  • Your content is either approved or in the Uploaded Files section (not in moderation).

Edit content in My Portfolio

Follow these steps to edit content in the Contributor Portal:

Sign in to the Contributor Portal with your Adobe ID.

Contributors can access the homepage to access their portfolio and manage content.

Select My Portfolio in the Contributor Dashboard.

Select the content you want to edit to open the detailed view.

Hover over the metadata field you want to edit, such as title, category, or keywords, until the ✎ icon appears, then select it to make changes. 

Contributors can use this metadata section to update fields such as title, category, language, and keywords.

Hover over the content to edit, then select the icon.

Keep titles, categories, and keywords relevant to improve search visibility.

Edit the content and then select Save.

Save changes after editing metadata to apply updates to the content.

Delete content from My Portfolio

Follow these steps to delete content from My Portfolio:

Go to My Portfolio in the Dashboard section of the Contributor Portal.

Contributors can browse the uploaded files by category and access options to edit or manage them.

Select the content you want to delete. 

Select  Delete file next to Garbage outline the trash can icon. 

Select Delete file to remove the content. Contributors will be prompted to confirm the deletion before it is completed.

Note

Changes are reflected immediately in the My Portfolio section of the Contributor Portal, while updated metadata may take time to appear in customer search results.

Edit content in Uploaded Files

Follow these steps to edit metadata for content in the Uploaded Files section before submission:

Sign in to the Contributor Portal with your Adobe ID.

Sign in to start managing your Adobe Stock portfolio.

In the Contributor Portal, select Uploaded Files.

Ensure the metadata, such as category, title, and keywords, are accurately filled before submission.

Update fields such as category, language, title, and keywords in the right panel with accurate and relevant information for proper categorization and discoverability.

Select Save work to apply and retain metadata updates.
