Legal requirements for video submission

Review the legal requirements for submitting videos to Adobe Stock, including copyright, trademark, privacy, and release requirements, to ensure the content complies with Adobe Stock policies and is accepted during review.

Before submitting video content to Adobe Stock, Contributors must verify that the footage complies with these legal requirements to avoid rejection or account penalties. All video submissions must meet copyright, trademark, privacy, and property rights standards. Violations can result in content rejection, account suspension, or permanent account closure.

Ensure the submitted videos meet all the legal and ethical requirements of Adobe Stock:

  • Submit an individual model release for each identifiable person featured in a video.
  • Submit property release for any identifiable locations, artwork, or branded objects.
  • Don't submit content that contains logos, trademarks, company names, or brand names, although you may be able to submit work if you have digitally removed them.
  • Be aware of location-based IP, such as murals and architectural landmarks. Refer to the known restrictions list for specific locations that will not be accepted into the collection.
  • Avoid videos that may raise ethical or safety concerns. For example, filming minors without consent or using drones in restricted areas.
