Criterion
Learn how video template submissions are reviewed in Adobe Stock, including the evaluation criteria, moderation process, timelines, and notification details for approvals and refusals.
All video templates submitted to Adobe Stock undergo a moderation process to verify that they meet technical quality standards, legal requirements, and marketplace needs. Adobe evaluates submissions at its discretion, as outlined in the Contributor Agreement, and provides refusal reasons as a courtesy to help template Contributors improve their submissions.
Evaluation criteria
Adobe Stock reviews every video template against four primary criteria before publication.
|
|
Assessment focus |
|---|---|
|
Legal standards |
Files adhere to IP and legal guidelines, including proper rights, releases, and licensing. |
|
Technical qualities |
Template is optimized for the Contributor’s use and meets file format, resolution, color space, and organizational specifications. |
|
Metadata |
Titles and keywords accurately describe content and follow metadata requirements. |
|
Similarity |
Content provides unique value and differs sufficiently from existing Adobe Stock templates and prior Contributor submissions. |
Moderation timeline and notifications
Moderation times vary based on submission queue volume. Contributors receive notifications on the Contributor Portal once templates are approved or refused. If a template gets refused, the refusal reason is displayed in the Portal to help identify the required improvements for resubmission.
