This addendum (“Addendum”) to the Adobe Stock Contributor Agreement (“Contributor Agreement”) applies to works that you submit to Adobe for Free Collection consideration.   This Addendum replaces previous Free Collection addenda.

By clicking “Agree”, you agree that:

Process

1. “Free Collection” is a collection of Adobe Stock assets that may be offered as “free content” as described in the Contributor Agreement.

2. “Free Period” is a one-year free period, a perpetual free period, or a renewal period, each as defined below.

3. A “Submission Period” is any time period in which Adobe enables you to review, edit, and submit works for consideration to be included in the Free Collection.

4. Your indication that a work is “nominated” means you are submitting that work for consideration to be included in the Free Collection in exchange for payment (as defined below), either:

a. For one year from the date a submitted work is first placed in the Free Collection (“One-Year Free Period”).

b. In perpetuity from the date a submitted work is first placed in the Free Collection (“Perpetual Free Period”).

5 During a submission period, you may review and edit your work submission choices until the applicable submission deadline posted in the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal (“Submission Deadline”), after which your submission will be sent to Adobe for consideration for the Free Collection.

6. Adobe may, but is not required to, place any work you submit for consideration into the Free Collection.

Payment

7. For each work Adobe places in the Free Collection, Adobe will pay you as described in the Free Collection Payment section of the pricing and payment details.

8.  Credits will be deposited to your applicable Adobe Stock Contributor account within 30 days after the start of each free period, with credits converting according to the currency associated with that account. Learn more about payment requirements for Contributors

9. For clarity, any work that is not placed into, or that is removed from, the Free Collection is subject to the applicable payment terms in the Contributor Agreement.

One-Year Free Period, Perpetual Free Period, and Auto-Renewal

10. During the One-Year Free Period or Perpetual Free Period, as applicable, you designate the work as “free content” as described in the Contributor Agreement.

11. Following any One-Year Free Period, Adobe may – but is not required to – elect to keep any work in the Free Collection for successive one-year periods (each, a “Renewal Period”) as described herein.

12.  Adobe will give you prior notice and an opportunity to opt out of including works in the Free Collection for the next Renewal Period.

13. Adobe may manage this notice and opt-out process through email, the Contributor Portal, or other communication methods it chooses.

14. During a Free Period:

a. You will not be owed any additional payment for Free Collection works beyond the payment.

b. Without limiting Adobe’s rights under the Contributor Agreement, Adobe may use Free Collection works to create compilation and/or derivative content (“Compilation Content”); and

c.  Compilation Content may be offered to users through Adobe’s applications and services (including any past, current, and/or future versions or releases).

Removal of works

15.  During a Free Period, you will not remove any Free Collection work from your Adobe Stock portfolio unless technically or legally required to do so (in which case you will notify Adobe of the need for removal by sending an email to contributor-support@adobe.com).

16.  Any license to a Free Collection work granted to Adobe’s users or to Adobe prior to the removal of that work from the Free Collection will survive. To the extent any work is removed from the Free Collection, Adobe may continue to issue licenses to such work as “free content,” to the extent necessary to honor reasonable user expectations, such as to allow users who have a comp version of such work (e.g., a preview sample) to obtain the usage license offered at the time the comp version was acquired. If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the Contributor Agreement, this Addendum governs solely as to (A) Works submitted for consideration in the Free Collection; (B) Free Collection works during a Free Period; and (C) Compilation Content.

Effective as of May 19, 2025.

Supplemental Work Payment

This section applies to Supplemental work. Adobe will pay you the amount offered in your Contributor account for supplemental work.

Credits will be deposited in your applicable Adobe Stock Contributor account no later than 30 days after use by Adobe, with credits converted at 1 USD, as described in the payment requirements for Contributors

Supplemental Work Addendum

This addendum (“Addendum”) to the Adobe Stock Contributor Agreement (“Contributor Agreement”) applies to “Supplemental work”, which is work submitted by you to fulfill a content and/or services request from Adobe, and which Adobe accepts.

You agree that:

  1. Adobe may notify you of a content and/or services request in your Contributor account, email, or other method with guidelines for submission (“Supplemental work request”).
  2. You may submit work to be considered by Adobe for the Supplemental work request during the “Submission Period”, which is any time period in which Adobe enables you to submit work.
  3. Adobe may accept your work as supplemental work at any time following the Submission Period. Adobe isn't obligated to accept submitted work as Supplemental work.
  4. Adobe will pay the amount offered in the supplemental work request as full and final compensation for use of the Supplemental work.
  5. Supplemental work may not be withdrawn by you, unless technically or legally required to do so (in which case you'll notify Adobe of the need for removal by sending an email to contributor-support@adobe.com).
  6. Supplemental work Requests are confidential, and their details may not be shared by you with third parties.
  7. In the event of a concern or dispute, you agree to resolve such concern or dispute pursuant to the dispute resolution process terms or any other applicable terms set forth in the Adobe Terms of Use.
  8. If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the Contributor Agreement, this Addendum governs solely as to work submitted for consideration as Supplemental work.
  9. Capitalized terms used in this Addendum but not defined are defined in the Contributor Agreement.
  10. If Adobe issues a Supplemental work request that explicitly authorizes the inclusion of identified third-party intellectual property (“Authorized Third-Party IP”) as part of a specified Missions brief (“Authorized IP Mission”), then, notwithstanding the Contributor Agreement, the prohibition on submitting content that includes third-party intellectual property without authorization is expressly waived solely for that Authorized IP Mission. For clarity, any use of Authorized Third-Party IP that exceeds the Authorized IP Mission is prohibited. All other requirements under the Contributor Agreement continue to apply to Supplemental work.

Effective from April 17, 2026
