Learn how to use Generative fill to add or replace objects in images within the Edit tab.
Transform your images by adding new elements or replacing existing ones. Generative fill combines generative AI capabilities with manual selection controls, allowing you to modify specific areas of an image while maintaining visual consistency.
Use the brush tool to paint over the object or area you want to edit, then fill it with a text prompt.
Select the Select less option, then brush over the painted strokes to remove parts of the selection. Alternatively, choose Select more to continue brushing over the area you wish to modify.
Select the icon to open the brush settings. Use the Brush size slider to make the brush larger or smaller, depending on the area you want to edit. You can also adjust the Brush hardness slider to control how soft or sharp the brush edges appear, allowing for smoother blends or more defined selections.
Select the icon under References to add a reference image. The added image will guide the look and feel of your generated output.
In the prompt field, enter a description of what you want the selected area to be filled with.
To remove the background from an image, select Remove background from the left toolbar.
To start fresh, select the reset option to erase all selections.
Select Fill to generate the edited image.
